Wolfie, a dog who once endured a difficult past, has now found happiness with a loving family.

A small dog endured a life of abuse and neglect under the care of her previous owner. She was kept chained on the patio, exposed to harsh conditions. The area was far from suitable, especially when rain caused flooding and filth to accumulate around her.
Despite the situation, Lady’s caregiver showed little concern and made no effort to improve her living conditions. Animal rights activists from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) attempted to intervene and rescue her, but the owner refused their assistance.
She was confined to a muddy area that flooded during rain, leaving her completely neglected.
For years, PETA field staff visited her, consistently urging her owner to surrender her care,” PETA shared in a YouTube video.
Over time, Lady grew increasingly withdrawn and sad, sometimes staying home entirely, according to the account. However, after persistent efforts to connect with Lady and convince her owner, she was eventually freed. The speaker shared that their perseverance paid off when the owner finally agreed to let PETA adopt Lady, and from that moment, “her entire world changed.”
After going through a healing journey, the dog left behind not only her past but even her old name. Now called Wolfie von Fluffer Bottom, she was lovingly adopted by a new family. She clearly adores her fresh start, as she eagerly runs to greet her new owners every time she sees them.
